Just Snapped The Top Of My Fly Rod


Good question:It is easier to buy a new rod!-however there are kits and tools you can buy to help here. Must say with carbon rods i prefer to buy a new section or rod as there strength diminshes and whip on being repaired in my view--Have a look at this section in my Fishing Store for Rod Repair Help

When I cast, my fly lineĀ  seems to bundle as it gets further away from my rod. What am I doing Wrong?

Patience and Practise

Rather than try when fishing practise your technique and every one has their own style of casting,in your garden at a park whatever. My First Fly Fishing Reel

I feel you should go to your local Fly Fishing shop and have a look at different Rods and Reels-Learn about the manufactures like Orvis and Sage.

No there are heaps of great rods-it depends on your budget and if you are a beginner at fly fishing!

My advice is to start on a small budget and talk with other Fly Fisherman to see their rods-Feel the weight see if you are comfortable with the rod--Have a look at my fly fishing store to give you ideas and brand names to look for-more posts on this soon--Or look below for what I have picked from Amazon--
